The neighborhood community of Southbrook is located in West Blooming off of 98th street just west of Penn Avenue. Southbrook is an older neighborhood featuring great homes with excellent character. The neighborhood also provides beautiful mature trees and a quiet neighborhood atmosphere. Southbrook consists of 150 single family homes featuring ranch, rambler, and split level housing styles with prices ranging from $250,000 to $450,000.

 

Southbrook features central location within close proximity to some of the top shopping, dining, and recreational amenities in Marsh Lake Park in Bloomington, MinnesotaWest Bloomington. Several amenities in the area include Marsh Lake Park, Brookside Park, Valley West Shopping Center, and Southtown Shopping Center. Valley West Shopping Center is located a couple miles southwest of Southbrook, featuring several shopping, dining, and grocery amenities. Some of these amenities include Cub Foods, Caribou Coffee, Chipotle, Walgreens, and more.

 

Residents of Southbrook are served by Independent School District 271Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota also known as Bloomington Public Schools. Bloomington Public Schools is one of the top school districts in the Twin Cities earing state and national recognitions. One of the closest schools to Southbrook is Hillcrest Elementary School. Hillcrest Elementary is an excellent school serving 416 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Other schools in the area include Olsen Elementary and Middle School, Thomas Jefferson High School, and Normandale Community College.
